Covid Safe Markets

We’ve made changes to our markets to ensure they’re safe, including:

  • TVM recommends wearing a mask where you cannot socially distance
  • COVID contract tracing QR codes on signage at entry points
  • Signage promoting social distancing, staying home if you’re unwell and maintain personal hygiene by hand washing
  • Alcohol-based hand sanitiser available at 6 locations throughout the market
  • All patrons must be seated whilst consuming food. Please BYO your picnic rug.
  • Frequently cleaning off high traffic points (seating, toilets and ATM)
  • Promotion of contactless payment methods
  • Covid Safe measures frequently promoted on all communications
  • Event Staff trained in accordance with Safe Work Australia Covid Safe Workplace principles and are supplied with PPE equipment
  • Stall Holders and third party contractors made aware and agree to new COVID guidelines in place prior to each event via acceptance of terms when booking which include:
  • Supply of an alcohol-based hand sanitiser
  • Social distancing where possible
  • Contactless payment methods
  • Providing details for contact tracing

Once inside the event, we ask you to respect signage, use safe hygiene practices, be kind to yourself and each other by keeping a safe distance and if you are unwell, please stay home and visit us another time.

When visiting TVM, please:

  • Do not attend if you’re unwell
  • Seek assistance if becoming unwell during the event (at the TVM info tent)
  • Wash your hands frequently
  • Know that maintaining physical distancing requirements is the individuals responsibility
  • Do not attend the event if you:
    i. You have been in close contact with a person who is positive for COVID-19
    ii. You are positive for COVID-19
    iii. You have travelled overseas or to a declared COVID-19 Hotspot in the previous 14 days
